Fire Up The Photoshop Machine Because We Have Reports Linking Donovan Mitchell To The Knicks

I haven't thought about the name Ric Bucher in YEARS and was pretty happy enjoying watching the players on my team play games instead of dreaming about players on other teams coming to save the Knicks over the last year or so. But holy fuck did I need this rumor today The Knicks have lost five of six, Thibs' rotations is driving the entire Tri-State Area crazy, and things haven't been this bad for Julius Randle since he was spinning his way onto every Knicks fan's shit list before winning Comeback Player of the Year last season.

To be clear, I fully realize how these rumors end for the Knicks almost every time and the young players the Jazz would want back for Donovan Mitchell are the ones that have pissed me off the least. I don't care though. Donovan Mitchell is a fun player from New York that is always wearing Mets jerseys because he is a diehard fan whose dad works for the team. Those are just FACTS.

Not really important facts in the grand scheme of things, but facts nonetheless. Just like Jazz fans will most certainly be pissed finding out that Donovan Mitchell's circle thinks he's too big for Salt Lake City.

If all that doesn't get your Knicks fan brain cranking those cheap dopamine hits that we've had to mainline the last 20 years in the seasons where the team didn't suck during this rough stretch, I don't know what to tell you. I feel like the Knicks will probably be sellers at the deadline with players like Alec Burks and Kemba Walker on the table for smaller deals before hopefully positioning themselves for some sort of a move this summer as they try to get into the Play In Tourney. Whether or not it happens, I am going to keep staring at these Donovan Mitchell pictures/highlights while rooting against the Jazz with every fiber of my being like Reggie Miller plays for them then hope everything comes up Knicks and suggest you do the same.
