Giannis Not Giving A Shit And Eating Wings During His Postgame Presser After The Bucks Got Destroyed Is Why He's The Greatest

I'm not sure what it's going to take for people to start actually believing in the Cavs this year. They are near the top of the league in basically every category that matters, they've beaten every team in the top 10 seeds minus PHI (haven't played yet) and after last night's ass kicking at home against the Bucks have now taken 2 of 3 against MIL. Point is, the Cavs are good. You should know this by now.

But the best part of this game is what happened afterward with Giannis. Does this look like a man that is even remotely bothered that his team got smoked, is 5-5 over their last 10 and has dropped to the 5 seed with only a 0.5 lead over PHI?

Nope, sure doesn't! I do think there are only a handful of superstar players that could show up to a postgame presser and do something like this and not be immediately hated, and Giannis is probably at the top of that very short list. What are you going to say? Giannis is proven and everyone on the planet loves him. This is what you can do when you sit on top of the mountain. What do you think the reaction would be if LeBron showed up to a postgame presser and did this? People would lose their MINDS. It'd be headline news across the world and not in a positive way. But with Giannis, it's different.

They say a team follows the mentality of their leader, which is why I wouldn't be worried in the slightest as a Bucks fan despite this current little skid. They've been battle tested. They know how the NBA works. For them, it's not about the regular season. I'm pretty sure they don't give a shit what seed they are, who do they fear? For the Bucks, it's about the postseason and repeating as champs. They are just in a different place as a franchise. For someone like CLE, a win like last night is massive. It's one of those validating wins that a rebuilding team on the rise needs to achieve. That's why you see Giannis so unbothered.

Even his responses were great. His face said it all. I'm pretty sure Giannis isn't losing sleep at night thinking about the Cavs. He has bigger fish to fry. They played great, Bucks stunk, no big deal. That's the type of confidence I think a title brings. Had they not won last year, everything surrounding them this season would be different. Games like last night would matter. But they did win. Giannis got to the top of the mountain, and as a result, he can do and say whatever the hell he wants.

Oh, and he's having another MVP caliber season on top of it so yeah, you can understand why he's unbothered by late January loss. Must be nice.
