Joe Burrow Says Evan McPherson Told The Bengals Bench "Looks Like We're Going To The AFC Championship" Before Taking The Field To Drill His 52 Yard Game Winning Field Goal

So I guess it turns out the Bengals not only have a quarterback with ice in his veins but also a kicker. Seems like a decent recipe to win football games. Sure if Evan McPherson had shanked that, he would have been mocked by his teammates either behind his back or to his face for the rest of his time in Cincinnati. 

But that's the thing. Evan McPherson wasn't missing that kick after calling his shot . He knew it. His teammates knew it. And anybody who saw him do this before the draft knew it.

I'm coming for those asses, McShay and Kiper!

I always say you need to have the right quarterback, coach, and kicker to win a Super Bowl. I think it's pretty clear the Bengals feel confident that they have at least one of those pieces.

Okay, they probably feel good about at least two of those pieces.

The Cincinnati Bengals are playing in the AFC Championship next week after winning four games and watching their franchise QB tear his ACL to shreds last season. Reread that sentence again. Absolutely crazy. If you aren't happy for Bengals fans, you are just a good old fashioned asshole (or I guess just a fan of one of their rivals).
