Alright, I know that headline may be a little dramatic. But after the slowest speed chase in cinematic history to end last episode followed by Fennec Shand getting operated on like a car in an 80s movie while some weird music played during a medical montage I was starting to get worried that the Book Of Boba Fett was going to down a very dark path that we had seen a lot in the Star Wars Galaxy until The Mandalorian righted the ship. Because the title character who everyone loved despite catching multiple L's seemed to have, as one MMB listener put it, hoe blood and was nowhere near the guy that the baddest man in a galaxy far, far away once said this to.

However, in Chapter 4, we finally got a glimpse at the bad ass bounty hunter we were hoping to see back when he sat on Jabba's throne in the Mando post credits scene that caused us to lose our shit. Watching the Slave I Firespray Gunship glide in and annihilate that speed bike gang on some Star Wars Khaleesi shit caused an utter nerdgasm in my basement followed by Boba lighting up the Sarlac's ass like any kid would while playing a video game. With a seismic charge no less!

THAT'S the guy we geeked out about when he reappeared in Mando and loved in the original trilogy despite lowkey taking one of the most embarrassing L's in Star Wars history. I want this book to finish with a Boba fueled by vengeance fucking shit up while in full Fett armor. No offense to Temuera Morrison, who seems like a nice guy, but Boba Fett became a legend because his name and his look were both a 10/10. Temuera Morrison is a pretty sweet name too but it doesn't touch Boba Fett.

I trust Dave Filoni is going to do the right thing and give us the full Boba Fett in the coming weeks, likely with some help from some familiar faces. We discuss who those familiar faces may be on the pod along with our newfound love for banthas, the droids in Jabba's kitchen being pretty awesome, Big K finally giving us that Wookiee arm rip off move that was 45 years in the making, and Boba HOPEFULLY riding on his enemies with his trusty new rancor, and Bob Fox flat out not knowing that a penguin is a bird because they are...big?
