Bucs Clip Eagles Wings And I Am Back In Big Cat's Good Graces

The Bucs were dealing with a CVS receipt of injuries today, so when asked to put in a parlay, I was conflicted. Luckily, the Ke'Shawn Vaughn rushing line came out this morning at 47.5 and I LOVED It. I've never seen a tastier prop. Not only did I take it, but when I showed up to the Gambling House today, I urged all my pals to take it as well. I was shouting the stats from the rooftop. We also rolled it into a Fantasy Football Factory Parlay that got boosted for the people.

After Vaughn ripped off a 17 yard run on his first carry, I got a little too excited and maybe celebrated too early. My buddy Big Cat took exception after 1st-Team All-Pro Right Tackle Tristan Wirfs went down on the very next play.

The World Champs persevered and marched it all the way down the field for a Giovani Bernard touchdown.

Who you say?

Things were starting to look even better for the game and the play after Vaughn scored a TD to put the Bucs up 14-0.

Things kept going the Bucs way as the 1st half rolled on. Even as the Eagles drove the ball down the field, the Bucs defense stood up when they needed to.

By halftime things were looking great on all fronts. The Bucs were up 17-0 and dominating all facets of the game, and Ke'Shawn Vaughn had already scored a TD and was on pace to shatter his 47.5 total.

The 2nd half started going great and we continued just running over Philly.

And Ke'Shawn Vaughn reached 49 rushing yards which led me to give a couple friendly forearm shivers to the arm of my buddy PFT Commenter who I urged to take Vaughn OVER 48.5 rushing yards. Unfortunately, Vaughn's got a carry on the next play and lost two yards. Not only did that bet for the moment turn into a loser, but the parlay did as well. Things looked bleak as Giovani Bernard took the next series of snaps and the Bucs continued to keep their foot on the Eagles throat. Feelings in the room went from jubilation to extremely tense very quickly. Had I celebrated too early? There was still 18 minutes left…

Things got even worse when the next time Vaughn got in his next carry went for minus five yards.

Things were tense. I felt like I could chew the air it was so thick. So many eyes were on me and a prop I talked so many people into.

Things had gotten very negative so with the 4th quarter about to start, we needed a massive reset of energy in the room.

Later in the 4th quarter, with Vaughn rotating series with Giovani Bernard, we finally broke through on the bet and the parlay.

All's well that ends well and the Bucs live to fight another week as they will move onto the Divisional Round where they will play the winner of the Monday Night game (Cardinals or Rams). Big Cat, PFT, Ben Mintz, myself, and everybody that rode got to breathe an enormous sigh of relief the enjoy the hit.

I appreciate every single person the even considering wagering on this based on my research, knowledge of the team, and insights, so thank you. And for the real football team, hopefully Tristan Wirfs, who went down very early in the game is alright and has a quick recovery. On to next week! Go Bucs!
