As The Djokovic Drama Continues To Unfold, Netflix Just So Happens To Be Down in Australia Filming a Behind The Scenes Tennis Docuseries With the Same Producer of 'Formula 1: Drive to Survive'

Timing is everything in this world. Sometimes it can lead to you being in the wrong place at the wrong time and failing/suffering miserably. Other times it can work out for you in the best way possible. Netflix green-lighting a behind the scenes tennis docuseries at the start of 2022 could not possibly be working out better for them. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE wants to know what the hell has been going on with the number one story in the sport....

Yes, I'm talking about Reilly Opelka getting shit on by a bird mid-match

Absolute scenes! A true gold mine for Netflix.

No seriously, the fact that the same guys from the hit show 'Formula 1: Drive to Survive' are down in Australia right now filming this whole Djokovic circus is too good to be true. We're 14 days into the new year and the number one player in the world is in the process of being deported out of the country as he tries to eclipse the all-time men's slam record. There's never been more eyes on tennis ever and they are there to capture it all. Makes you think if Netflix is behind the whole thing, pulling the strings to fuck with the Serbia and get all the potential viewers humanly possible.

What actually would be really funny is if they completely ignored it. Like imagine they just talked about Andy Murray winning a few matches (maybe a title if he wins tonight) and Opelka getting shit on by that bird. Zero Djokovic footage whatsoever. I'd respect that so much.

It's no secret I'm a tennis junkie and it's time the sport gets more eyeballs just like the F1 series achieved. The ridiculous drama that happens throughout the course of the year is perfect for this kind of show. Djokovic's on-going drama, all the Osaka stuff, Serena maybe stepping away for good, Fed's return in the summer, Kyrgios theatrics and all the random shit you never expect. I'm all in on this.
