For The Second Straight Year, Dan Shaughnessy Has ONLY VOTED FOR JEFF KENT For The MLB Hall Of Fame

Almost one year to the day that I wrote a blog about Dan Shaughnessy only voting for Jeff Kent on his Cooperstown ballot, the idiot does it again. It's Groundhog Day, the same stuff over and over. Guess what, in 2019 he voted for only Mariano Rivera. In 2020 he voted for only Derek Jeter, and now he's on back-to-back years only voting for Jeff Kent. What is up with Shaughnessy's obsession with Kent? He was a good player, sure. A fine player some would say. But is he the only guy that sticks out to you among a sea of record setters? I don't think so. Some men just want to watch the world burn and Danny boy is one of those people. I know he had his issues and run-ins with David Ortiz, but as a Boston guy didn't you think Papi would get his vote?

You see it, 6 of the 7 HOF votes from the Glove were for Ortiz, but Dan had to be his own guy. He had to get his name in lights, congrats to him because he did it again. Out of all the ballots, the ones without "steroid" guys, the ones with no one selected, this one is probably the weirdest. Shaughnessy has this WILD obsession with voting for only 1 person, I just don't get it. I have a feeling this is going to be an annual blog from me. It drives me insane every time this happens because he treats this like a joke. He does this to make himself the story and get his name buzzing. 

Every January 11th or 12th Shaughnessy will post his ballot with only Jeff Kent checked off. He will send off his ballot, turn his lights on, light his Jeff Kent candle, stare at his Jeff Kent poster and watch his Jeff Kent highlights on Youtube. I don't understand how you can look at this ballot and think only Jeff Kent is worthy of your vote. I want to know if Kent loves this move too, like do they have any working relationship? Nothing about this is smart or makes sense. Maybe Kent saved Shaughnessy's dog from a fire or something and Dan said "how can I ever repay you?" and Kent answered by saying "vote for me and only me on every HOF ballot." There is no other explantation. 

Can't wait to tune in next year when we get the exact same result from Danny boy. Village idiot does it again. He may be the least qualified person to vote for the HOF. No one is a bigger hero in their own eyes than this clown.
