Big Cat And Georgia Get Vengeance on Alabama

Big Cat and the Georgia Bulldogs got  vengeance on Nick Saban and Alabama 33-18 in the National Title Game in his 2022 Game of The Year (UGA -2.5).

After losing his 2021 GOTY pick with Georgia -6.5 badly in SEC Championship (Bama 41-24),  both Big Cat and the Bulldogs totally redeemed themselves!

The game was a tense low scoring affair early with Bama leading 9-6 at halftime. The Crimson Tide lost star WR Jameson Williams to a knee injury early and it was a massive blow.

The unlikely combo of Big Cat, Brandon Walker, Jack McGuire and me were all on Georgia while Marty Mush, Rico Bosco, Kayce Smith and Ev had Alabama.

The 2nd half was an intense back and forth affair to say the least! Georgia QB Stetson Bennett hit this deep ball to take the lead 19-18 in the 4th.

Georgia scored again to lead 26-18. We had Georgia at -2.5 and were terrified of a Bama TD and missed 2 point conversion. Alabama was driving and out of nowhere their Heisman Trophy QB Bryce Young threw this pick 6 to clinch the game for UGA and the fellas were pumped!

The pick 6 reminded me of my favorite sports memory when Peyton Manning threw one in Saints/Colts Super Bowl to clinch it for New Orleans in 2009.

Big Cat was rightfully FIRED UP after and Brandon Walker even somehow hit Georgia -10 (+250) alternate line.

I had a blast on the live stream with Big Cat and Brandon. It felt like the first time ever Brandon and me were cheering for the same side.

Congrats to the pack of rabid Georgia Dawgs  on winning their first title since 1980! I have had some amazing times in Athens, Georgia in my life (ESP following Widespread Panic) and am ecstatic for them.

The sports world is a much happier place when Alabama does not win every year. Saban has already won 6 titles in Tuscaloosa. Their fans do not deserve to win every year. Enough is enough and it is time for a change!
