Seton Hall/UConn Was The Best College Hoops Game Of The Season So Far And It Was AWESOME
Well that was fucking awesome. Best game of the season when you consider it was two top-25ish teams, refs just let them play, Kadary Richmond decided to look like an All-American and everything else. Two things are guarantees - early Big East games and late night MWC games always deliver. What does suck was how trash that last possession was by UConn. None of it made sense. You're down 1, why wait that long to get into your offense? Go early enough where if you miss, it's still a one possession game after free throws. Give yourself a chance. Hell of a job by Rhoden to get the loose ball and poke it free, but it was a garbage offensive possession.
All that said, this looked like two of the 4 best teams in the Big East. The conference is fairly wide open. Think we can all agree Nova is the favorite but then you have Xavier, Seton Hall, UConn, Providence and even Creighton hanging around there. Marquette is probably the biggest boom/bust team in the country. Just one of those leagues where you really need to win home games. Can't lose when a lot of these series are going to be split.

I said it earlier today but it really felt like the first day of college hoops season and that's all that matters. The first of 9 straight conference weekends. Minimal football on so all eyes are on the sport. Give me a game like this to get us started every day of the week.
