Groundbreaking Actor Sidney Poitier Has Passed Away At 94

Poitier had an absolutely incredible life. He went from growing up on an impoverished tomato farm in the Bahamas to becoming the first black actor to win the Oscar for best actor. He starred in monster hits like 'The Defiant Ones', 'A Raisin in the Sun 'Lilies of the Field', 'Guess Who's Coming To Dinner', 'To Sir With Love' and more. He also directed movies from the 70's through to the 80's and guest starred in plenty of shows along the way. In addition to all the Hollywood glam, he was also the Bahaman ambassador to both Japan and UNESCO. He was a groundbreaking multi-hyphenate, and world is worse off without him. RIP to one of the greats.
