Scenes From An Ass Kicking

0 points. ZERO in a 60 minute game. Unreal. Now granted, the Saints, like the scumbag franchise they are tried to take out our best players knees early:

That strategy seemed to pay off as Chris Godwin, who had 6 catches for 49 yards early was out for the game after that hit. Mike Evans exited soon after with a hamstring injury and the Bucs walked into the locker room down 6-0. They seemed like they had a renewed focus on running the football that was working well enough, but didn't last long as Leonard Fournette exited with a hamstring injury mid-way through the quarter.

Overall the game just was never in hand. Far too often we were uncomfortable and it was clear Tom Brady never got settled behind what is typically a very good unit in the Offensive Line. Receivers didn't get open and he didn't have time to find them when they were. In the kicking game, Ryan Succop missed a Field Goal early and the punting from Bradley Pinion could have been better. We just didn't win in any facet of the game and it's a frustrating feeling. Good thing it's unlikely the Saints make the playoffs, so this is probably the last time we'll see them this year as they seem to have the Bucs number.

But we will come back from this stronger. In fact, while Godwin, Evans, & Fournette's status is unknown, we've got a Hall of Fame caliber playmaker coming back tomorrow.

And for anybody that doesn't believe in the Bucs, I got a few words for ya!
