Topps Absolutely Butchered The Atlanta Braves World Series Set Of Trading Cards

Oh no...Topps....you had one job! How do you let this happen and then allow the cards to be sent out? They released a special set of Atlanta Braves trading cards commemorating their World Series title for fans to buy, a cool piece of memorabilia for Braves fans to grab as a way to remember their October run. The only problem is the information on the back is so, so wrong. Fans started receiving the cards this week and right away people noticed the issues. The first screw up is they said the Braves won it all in 5 games over the Astros. Well that just isn't true at all! We all know it was a 6-game series, you'd think that would e a pretty easy thing to fact check there. The big one is that they mention the Braves were managed by Dusty Baker. Again, not true. Another thing that is pretty damn easy to fact check. Where was quality control on these? Was Creed in charge of these? He really screwed the pooch on this. Probably thousands of these things printed out and shipped too. Topps is replacing all the cards that were riddled with errors so they've got that going for them. Tough looks for Topps though, king of the baseball card world and they fumbled the ball right at the 1.
