The Hockey World Is So Lucky To Have Bruce Boudreau Back In Our Lives
Icon Sportswire. Getty Images.February 14, 2020. Valentines Day for some, but others weren't quite feeling the love as that was the day Bruce Boudreau was fired by the Minnesota Wild. And when Brucey Boy's tenure with the Wild ended, a little piece of the hockey world died with it. Because the game of hockey is so much better off when Bruce Boudreau is in it. Heck, the world is so much better off when Bruce Boudreau is coaching in the NHL. Just think about everything that has happened since February 2020. I'm not sure if you remember this or not but the whole entire world shutdown due to a global pandemic. I find it hard to believe that the two are not correlated in some fashion.
But fortunately the world is ready to heal. Most thankfully due to the fact that the Vancouver Canucks were a god awful hockey team. So Vancouver shit cans head coach Travis Green, and they made sure that GM Jim Benning couldn't make any more coaching decisions as they kicked him to the curb as well. And after cleaning house, Vancouver Canucks chairman Francesco Aquilini knew there was only man on the planet up to the task to right the ship. Who you gonna call?

God I love this man.
Coaching ain't about the X's and O's, it's about the Jimmy's and Joe's. And if you don't know who the Jimmy's and Joe's are, then who gives a shit. It'll all figure itself out eventually. Which is exactly what happened last night as Bruce Boudreau made his debut behind the bench for the Canucks.
A team that lost 10 out of their last 12 games goes out there and not only do they come out on top, but it was a dominant 4-0 win. Just like that, a hero is born.
Bruce there it is! Bruce there it is!
Again, it just can't be a coincidence that the world went to complete and total shit almost immediately after this majestic man was fired.

A catastrophic wrong has finally been righted. We must cherish each and every one of these moments we get with Bruce Boudreau back in our lives. Because as we've seen before, we never know when he'll be taken from us again.
