Is that scenario likely, remotely possible, or even have a one in 14,000,605 of happening? Of course not! Mostly because my beloved Giants are going to do everything in their power to blow it up starting this Sunday. But it is real as long as the mathematics says it is and I feel like Superfan, Detroit Don, and the entire Lions fanbase deserves to dream this crazy dream instead of looking at becoming the first team to go 0-16-1 after becoming the first team to go 0-16 with a schedule that isn't exactly a cake walk the final six weeks.

Chin up though Lions fans. The NFL is a league built on parity so Goodell can keep all of our eyeballs on the games for as long as possible, there is an extra week this season to go along with the extra wild card game added last season, and most important of all the most unstoppable force in all of sports says that Washington is a lock to lose this week.

Add it all up and there could be some pigskin magic brewing in Motown this Christmas season. Or not. I don't know. I just don't want to see what Dan Campbell is like if the guys finish the season with a goose egg in the win column because this hurt enough.
