Yep, this is what I want to see. I keep blogging about things like this because it's what makes college sports awesome. None of this everyone play nice bullshit. You lose your coach to a conference rival, you mock them no matter what. That's especially true when they go on the road and lose to Gonzaga in a game that was never *that* close. 

Now all that said, Texas is going to be fine. One thing I won't do is completely overreact to a road game in November. It's dumb to do that. Argue all you want, but the fact is Texas is still going to get back Dylan Disu who is arguably their most talented transfer. Also the most important piece to Texas. They are still going to figure out their roles and Chris Beard teams tend to get better as the season goes on, especially with transfers. I also don't know what team would go to Spokane and beat Gonzaga right this second. Place was unreal and we need more games like that. Give me as many top-10 games on campus as possible. 

Now the whole 'Monday night program' thing? It's Chris Beard saying Texas can play for a national title. He's right. It's not even a hot take. They are that good. They have that much talent. But more importantly, I want Texas and Texas Tech to truly hate each other. I want Tech fans to be completely irrational in thinking Chris Beard should have stayed there forever. I want Texas fans to pretend like they have some unreal basketball history. I want petty tweets and comments from everyone involved here. College sports is better with rivalries. It's made on rivalries.
