The Steelers Have Forced Me To Start Christmas Celebrations Early

What a horribly unwatchable mess that we just had to sit through. I mean, objectively, if you were just tuning in as a non-fan of either the Steelers or the Lions then 1. go get checked out and 2. I'm sorry. That was painful on every front. Both sides.

But the Steelers? Well, we got answers. Mason Rudolph being just meh besides the game's opening drive. He's a backup. That's it. He's not the answer at quarterback if you want to contend for Super Bowls and that's abundantly clear. Devin Bush? What a waste of trading up to the 10th pick to get him. His best traits coming out were speed and athleticism with the hopes that he could cover those matchup problems in the seam. Can't do that. Gets swallowed in the run game consistently. It's like playing with 10 dudes out there. Muth is my guy, and he's going to be a stud, but you gotta just get out of bounds when you have no timeouts and there's 15 seconds left and ticking in OT while you're trying to set up a game winning field goal.

They've forced my hand. My wife already has the tree up, and that's fine, but I need something - something healthier than turning to having a few stiff drinks to shake this one off. Christmas Vacation is being put on tonight. This is what this team does to our health both mentally and physically. It's days like to day you stop and ask yourself "why do I even put myself through this?".

A perfect opportunity to somehow get this team who started 1-3 to atop the AFC North a week before Thanksgiving and you play quite literally the sloppiest game of all time. Gimme Cousin Eddie.
