It's Time The NHL Does The Right Thing And Steps Up To Save Phil Kessel From Arizona

We are witnessing an atrocity. A national tragedy which nobody in the mainstream media seems to be batting an eye at.

The Arizona Coyotes are truly one of the worst hockey teams ever assembled. That is an assessment rooted in fact, not just opinion. People lie, numbers don't.

The lowest points percentage in the history of the league.

Now the fact that the 'Yotes suck isn't exactly news. They've sucked for a long time. But the fact that they are wasting precious time off of Phil the Thrill's career? That should make you violently sick. That should disgust you so much that you write a strongly worded letter to your elected official to demand the Coyotes trade Phil Kessel immediately.

What makes this situation even more deplorable is when you think about all the times the league has bent over backwards for certain teams throughout the years. Like when they forced the Oilers to trade Gretzky to LA to grow the California market. Or when they rig Draft lotteries to make sure their precious little Pittsburgh Penguins get to draft Sidney Crosby, or rigging lotteries to make sure the Flyers don't get a superstart of their own in Patrick Kane. The league will gargle the nuts of teams until their blue in the face. But when it comes time to save a player from a truly dogshit organization? When it's a move that doesn't serve the league's agenda like getting Kessel out of the desert? They couldn't care less.

$6.8M cap hit, last year on his contract, still fully capable of making NHL goaltenders look like complete and total bozos?

Get this man onto an actual hockey team, ASAP. I don't care what strings need to be pulled. I just can't sit back and watch as this organization wastes away potentially one of the last chances Phil Daddy has at filling the Cup up with a bunch of cured, cased meats again. #PhreePhil

P.S. - This was just unnecessarily rude.

And speaking of unnecessarily rude…

And again, just rude…

Filthy, but rude.
