Sure, Why Not: Deron Williams Is Boxing On The Jake Paul/Tommy Fury Undercard And His Opponent Is Potentially Frank Gore

I never thought in a million years I'd be sitting here on Breeders Cup Friday, going through the horses and see a potential Deron Williams/Frank Gore boxing match. It reads like a mad-lib. Yeah, I'm talking about this Deron Williams.

Or perhaps you remember him from the college days and one of the greatest Tournament games ever. 

Now I have to question Deron Williams here. Sure, the pay day might be nice. But I can't think of someone random I'd want to fight less than Frank Gore. Frank Gore is a monster. The guy who played in the NFL for roughly 35 years and even at the end of his career was still putting his head down for 3 yards every carry. Yeah, let me avoid being in a boxing match with that guy. 

Now am I going to watch? Of course I'm going to watch. I need to see Deron Williams get in a boxing match. Never thought I'd say that, considering there once was a time where people debated Deron Williams vs Chris Paul. That was a real thing that happened. Remember, Deron Williams also had a pretty nice payday with the Nets fiasco. 

$27 million should be more than enough to keep me out of the boxing ring. It's 100% more than enough to let me avoid fighting Frank Gore. If I'm Deron Williams I'm on the horn with the promoters right this second trying to find a different opponent. If not, fake an injury.
