Jake Paul Officially Un-Retires From Boxing To Fight Tommy Fury On December 18th

Source - Mark your calendars ... Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will officially take the ring in December -- with the YouTube superstar announcing the fight date Friday.

The epic showdown is set to happen at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay ... and Jake is vowing to hang out with some local celebs after coming away with the win.

The Tweet:

Two words- Bush League. Absolute bush leagueigtry. Jake Paul owes Tyron Woodley a fight and he's ducking him because he knows he'll get his ass kicked. His career flashed before his eyes during those late rounds against Tyron so he wants nothing to do with rematch. It really is as simple as that. He flew too close to the sun so he's steering clear of the light. I would too.  Of course, he said the reason he's not fighting Woodley is because it took him "too long" to get the tattoo, but we know that's bullshit.

From an interview earlier this month...

“Let’s see what happens. He was like three or four weeks late on the tattoo, he let the hype die down,” the 24-year-old said. “I think he had a call with his accountants and he saw how much taxes he had to pay and he was like ‘oh, man, I need to get this tattoo right now.'”

There were also doubts about the tattoo itself, with Paul suggesting Woodley may change it should he get his rematch.

“The weird thing about it,” Paul continued, “is the tattoo is on his middle finger and it’s done in a way where he can change it to say ‘f* Jake Paul’. He did it so the I looks like an F or could be changed to that, so I think personally he’s going to change it to say f* Jake Paul on his middle finger… He’s trying to find loopholes and be slick but he’s not as smart as he thinks he is.”

Whatever you say, Jake.

I do commend him for taking the Fury fight, though, because in the words of Large, "even though they're both terrible fighters, Fury is marginally less terrible." He's also almost identical in size which will be a change of pace for Paul. Here's what Tommy had to say when TMZ caught up to him in an airport…
