Florida QB Anthony Richardson Has His Own Merch Tent Set Up Outside UF-UGA Today

In case you haven't heard yet, the age of NIL is upon us. And in addition to all the deals you've seen on social media, we now have starting quarterbacks hawking merch outside the stadium hours before one of the biggest games of the year. Anthony Richardson is expected to start for the Florida Gators today against Georgia and if any UF fans want to get some AR-15 merchandise before the game, they can do so right outside TIAA Bank Field.

I'm all for every student-athlete getting their bags — shoutout to official Macrodosing athletes and recurring guests Tyler Baron and Hendon Hooker — but I'll just say it: if you're paying $60 for that hoodie, you're out of your mind. Are there really Florida fans out there who would rather spend money on merch of a quarterback who has yet to make a start in his career, which could be mistaken for a gun enthusiast hoodie, instead of just buying UF gear?

Regardless, I'm sure Richardson is making a little bit of spending money and I think that's great. It's only a matter of time before you'll go to a game in Tuscaloosa or Columbus and see a dozen player tents set up outside the gates.
