Everything You Need To Know About The Eternals Before Seeing The Movie This Weekend

Bob Fox and I are back in the basement with Eternals hitting the theaters. While at least one of us usually has some sort of an idea about the next MCU project coming down the pipe, both of us were absolutely clueless about anything and everything Eternals related, which is kind of a big deal since Marvel seems to be treating it like a potential award winner.
So we had comic book diehard (and fellow MMA journo) Jose Youngs on the pod to give us a background of everything Eternals related so we at least have an idea of what's going on when we enter the movie theater with a tub of popcorn three times the size of my head this weekend. Since we are professional idiots, Jose was nice enough to hit us with easy to understand breakdowns of the Eternals, their big swinging dick superduper powerful bosses known as the Celestials, and their rivals known as the Deviants.
Jose also explained why the Eternals have names that sound like Greek gods, how Thanos is involved in all this, who could be the big biiiiig bad in the MCU after Kang is done, and how Robb Stark would've stopped The Red Wedding from happening if he knew how to shoot lasers out of his eyes.
Okay that last part is made up. But I couldn't imagine seeing Eternals without the info Jose gave us, so make sure check out the video above or listen/subscribe/rate 5 stars to the My Mom's Basement podcast in audio form if that's how you pod. Trust me, you want to know as much about space gods with superpowers as possible before watching them on screen for 2.5 hours.
We also asked Jose if he wanted to plug anything for coming on the pod and all he asked for was to promote Comic Books 4 Kids, which is a company that donates comics to kids battling diseases.
Truly an awesome cause that Robbie and I are going to be help promote in the basement as long as Portnoy keeps the lights on for us. We are planning to have Jose back to talk Hawkeye before that series starts along with hopefully a ton of other comic content.
