The Saints Defense Is A PROBLEM

The Saints don't give a damn how ugly it was. Despite a rash of injuries and a hurricane that displaced them for a month, the New Orleans Saints are somehow 4-2.

The Saints grinded out a 13-10 chippy win on a rainy windy Monday night in Seattle last night. Emotions ran hot and there were near fights all over the field all night. You could sense the Seahawks desperation at 2-3.

Led by the Man of God LB Demario Davis, the Saints defense completely shut down Seattle after an early long TD by DK Metcalf. Davis deserves respect as one of the top defensive players in the NFL!

These are most definitely not the high flying Saints of the Drew Brees era. The offense is struggling weekly behind an inept receiving core that’s still missing Mike Thomas.

But the defense has stepped up and is carrying the team to playoff contention.

This win sets up a massive showdown with Tom Brady and the Super Bowl champs on Halloween Sunday in New Orleans at 4:25 Eastern. The Super Dome will be rocking with all the fans in costumes.

No one does Halloween like New Orleans. I can’t freaking wait for next Sunday afternoon!
