OU-Kansas Was Delayed Because All the Power in the Stadium Went Out

It took all of four minutes of game time in Lawrence, Kansas to get our first distinctly college football moment of the day, when all the power in Memorial Stadium went out. Anything that uses electricity was donezo. The referee announced a timeout because, simply, "Everything is off."

Maybe it's exactly what the Jayhawks needed, though, because KU went down the field while the scoreboard remained dark and took a 7-0 lead on Oklahoma. The Sooner fans are not taking it well.

Things are off to a wacky start in Lawrence. Maybe it ends up being one of those games where everything breaks right for an upset.
