The Patrick Kane 1000 Game Ceremony Is Hitting Me Square In The Feels

Kane wanted to wait to do the 1000 game ceremony for when the fans could pack the UC and that was 100% the right call because that was a fitting tribute for the greatest player in the history of the franchise. It's just so weird to realize that I've been watching this dude play hockey since 2006 when he played for USA at the WJC. That's a lot of water under the bridge. So many memories. The highlights still give me chills. Now, we're all old. Kane has a kid. They're still out there playing and I am still on my couch watching. I am fatter, they are...still in great shape.
