Lane Kiffin Barely Made It Out Of Neyland Alive

All hell broke loose at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville after Ole Miss stopped Tennessee by a 1/2 yard on 4th & 24 with 54 seconds left in the game.

Tennessee fans threw bottles, cans and vape pins all over the field and stands after midnight. One even threw a bottle of French’s mustard as the game was stopped for some time.

Emotions boiled over after a long 4th quarter in which both teams had several players lying on the field for periods of time.

Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin was almost hit by both a golf ball and a water bottle. It is safe to say Vol fans have not forgiven him for leaving for USC after coaching one season at UT in 2008.

It was an incredible scene last night with 102,000 fans in checkered orange and white stadium until it wasn’t.

Ole Miss escaped with a 31-26 victory by the skin of their teeth behind Heisman favorite QB Matt Corral’s gutty effort & legs.

Tennessee almost came back at the end with game ending on Ole Miss 20. I cannot imagine if they would have won and fans stormed the field. My mind is already melted.

Tennessee fans are getting crucified on social media for their behavior.

Congrats to Lane Kiffin on making it both out of Knoxville alive and with a victory. Love him or hate him, Kiffin knows how to pull emotion out of people.
