AUSTIN RILEY WALKS OFF THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS TO TAKE A 1-0 LEAD IN THE NLCS

YES!!!

Austin Riley's NLCS Game 1 performance was a microcosm of what he did all season. Riley homered in the fourth inning to tie the game before delivering the walk-off blow in the ninth to give the Braves a 1-0 lead in the NLCS. I'm still in awe of what this guy has been able to do in 2021. I don't think anyone saw this season coming.

And this game was just a perfect encapsulation of what the Braves have done all season and Postseason. The bullpen was lights out again as it's been so far in the playoffs and the lineup just found a way to scratch enough across to get it done. Damn it, that was fun.

We've been here before, though. A 1-0 lead against the Dodgers doesn't mean anything, especially when Game 1 was Max Fried against the Los Angeles bullpen. That was a game we had to win.

But I'll never wish away an Austin Riley NLCS walk-off. Let's get another one tomorrow.
