Ian Desmond Was Booed Off The Field Last Night, It's Definitely Trea Turner Time

Enough is enough with Ian Demond. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and all, but he just has not gotten it done on the field since opening day. He’s currently in what you can call a slump, going 2 for his last 35. That’s correct. .057 over his last 9 games. He hit .161 in June and then only missed one fucking game in July, where he batted a beautiful .190, which includes a 4 game stretch where he went 7/12. That’s how bad he is at hitting the ball. Enough is enough with him. He doesn’t even make up for it in the field where he has 21 errors and makes relay throws like this:

It’s time to bring up Trea Turner. Yes, skip right over giving Danny Espinosa his spot and just put Trea Turner in there. Turner has speed, can hit, and literally can’t be worse than Desmond. Matt Williams just needs to think to himself- who gives me a better chance to win baseball games, Ian Desmond or Trea Turner? And if his answer is truly Ian Desmond, he needs to be on the next flight to Azerbaijan. If the Nats are going to retake the division, they need to have their best players in the lineup. A guy who plays every day and adds nothing to the team like Ian Desmond is not the answer. And LOL at people who think he needs to stay in the lineup to get out of his current “slump”. He’s been in a year-long slump…and fucking last year he only hit .255–he’s just not that good of a player. #WeWantTrea
