DOWN GOES ALABAMA

Oh my God.

I didn't think this was possible. Not just tonight, but ever. Nick Saban and No. 1 Alabama have fallen to an unranked team — and one playing its backup quarterback, at that. And that's not to even mention losing to one of Saban's former assistants.

Give all the credit in the world to Jimbo Fisher Texas A&M for what they were able to do. Every single time I was sure Alabama was going to do what it always does and take the game over, the Aggies just found a way to make one more play every time they needed it. Bama even blocked a punt for a touchdown and had all the classic breaks you expect of a Saban-led team and A&M still found a way.

I'm still in shock from what we all just witnessed. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, as a 17.5-point favorite, lost to an unranked Texas A&M team to throw the SEC West and college football as a whole into turmoil. I love this sport, man.

There's nothing like college football. You can take your NFL Sunday tomorrow and shove it. This is the pinnacle of sports.
