Gotta Support The Team - Love The Dedication From This Wedding Officiant To Announce UC Was Beating Notre Dame Mid-Ceremony

I'm very much on record of hating fall weddings on Saturday's and you should avoid them. Howevah, I get that it's impossible. Weddings are strictly about the bride, the groom is merely there as a prop. All of us were and always will be that way. Just how it goes. That said, when Cincinnati is playing arguably the biggest game in school history at Notre Dame, this is what you do. You have the wedding official put in a joke about the Book of Luke and the score. Even more important is getting the time out there. You need to know what you're working with and people can put away their phones and not have to check as much. That's the other key about weddings - the majority of the battle is making sure everyone has a good time. You don't want people complaining about your wedding, so throwing out the score is a huge win.

It's hard to argue with this. I didn't think UC was bad or anything like that, but they just felt like the 'other' team in the top-10. I didn't know how much to trust them on the road, especially when they struggled in the first half at Indiana. Indiana stinks, Notre Dame is, or at least was, Notre Dame. Different animal there.

But this is college football. This year is already reminding the entire world of 2007 when shit got weird. So why not? I'm not even a UC fan but seeing the disruption of a group 5 team into the playoff after always seeing Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Clemson basically every year, we need some weirdness. But if you have a Saturday wedding over the next two months take note. Get a wedding officiant who will give a score update. Just work it in for 30 seconds. Well done.
