Tom Brady Gets Yet Another W At Gillette Stadium

It was an emotional week for Tom Brady I'm sure. Returning to his place of work of 20 years without his longtime Patriot buddy Rob Gronkowski due to injury. He got a solid reception from the what appeared to be a late arriving crowd

He quickly checked off his first milestone becoming the all-time leader in passing yards surpassing NBC anchor Drew Brees. There was supposed to be a game stoppage and a brief ceremony, but all that could be mustered up was a brief jumbotron graphic.

Not really all that different from if a dude proposes to his main squeeze.

The game wasn't the fireworks that we could have hoped for. Some of that certainly due to Bill Belichick and a well orchestrated defensive gameplan. But some could also be attributed to the rain. It was raining cats and dogs in Foxboro and the Bucs seemed to have an extra case of the dropsies. The game was pretty even with the Pats turning the ball over twice which was pivotal.

After trailing by 1 point, TB12 led the Bucs down the field and delivered a picture perfect ball to Antonio Brown for what should have been the storybook ending game winner. But fell just off his hands in the back of the end zone.

We settled for a FG and there was never a doubt. The Pats did drive the ball down with the help of some zebras and got into pretty deep FG range themselves. But former Bucs reject Kicker Nick Folk couldn't put the dagger in his old team.

And after the game, the post-game hug between Belichick and Brady…well, I guess you could call that a hug?

Ok Bill…Now the Bucs move to 3-1 while the Pats fall to 1-3. Was a good game, glad to get it out of the way. Hopefully Carlton Davis is alright. We saw some impressive stuff out of the 1st round rookie Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. We're on to Miami. Go Bucs!
