The Careers Spawned By 'The Daily Show' Is A Pretty Damn Impressive List

With Jon Stewart leaving The Daily Show on Thursday after 400 or so years, the media is going to be over-saturated with this kind of stuff all week. And it’s well deserved. Like it or not, The Daily Show has become a game changer with the way news is done and Stewart has been the direct cause of everything. However, one of the most impressive things about the show is how Jon Stewart became the Bill Parcells* of TV. Look at all that freaking talent the show had throughout the years. Carell, Colbert, Oliver, and Holmes are pretty much superstars in their own right. Throw in a delightful Rob Corddry and Olivia Munn’s knockers and you’ve got one hell of an alumni team.

*Dare I say it, but Andy Reid’s coaching tree deserves to be put in a high category, too. Super Bowl Champion John Harbaugh was in Philly for many years as a Special Teams then Secondary coach. Ron Rivera was on Big Red’s staff for awhile, too. Add in other head coaching washouts Brad Childress, Steve Spagnuolo with Leslie Frazer and Andy Reid had some sought after talent being shaded under his gunt.
