Listen to the emotion in Stricker's interview! Tell me the Ryder Cup isn't the most important thing going on today. Okay, that might just be me avoiding talking about the Giants, but still USA >>> Giants. Honestly, we deserved to get Brooks and Bryson for teammates just once. I would have done anything to see them play a foursome game together. Imagine the reactions we'd get if one left someone out to dry in one of the cliffs off the green. Imagine a missed putt. Imagine the high fives. It was really the only thing missing from this Ryder Cup, besides it being close. I know we couldn't mess up yesterday with the foursome matches being in the morning. I just wanted to see it happen.
I'll say this. Brooks and Bryson were 2 of the 3 US players with the most pressure on them - DJ being the other. Whether it was the comments Brooks made, everyone talking about these two being on the same team and Bryson not winning a match in Paris, they had to show up. They did. Both were damn good this week. Now we watch them celebrate. Just need Xander to teach them the proper High Noon chug.
