SMU Tried to Plant Its Flag at TCU With the Horned Frogs Still on the Field. It Did Not Go Well

There's nothing like a good college football rivalry.

SMU went just a few miles down the road and took down its cross-town rival TCU 42-38 on Saturday. After the big win, SMU receiver Rashee Rice went immediately for the team flag and headed right for the TCU logo at midfield. Rice had made some pretty direct comments earlier in the week about this game.

He made the critical mistake, however, of not waiting for the Horned Frogs to leave the field before he went for the flag plant. They did not take too kindly to the move.

But even after it looked like TCU had put a stop to the flag planting, SMU went right back to the 50-yard line. So that's when TCU decided to rip the flag right off its stick.

Honestly, good. All you had to do was wait for the team you just beat to walk dejectedly back to the locker room and then you can go piss on their grave however you want. If you can't get the flag plant right, you don't deserve to do it.
