First off love the “Cubs are back” off the top from McGregor. That’s just good wholesome vibes even if the boys got eliminated from playoff contention long ago. Don’t let the champ say otherwise and I know he’s not a champ. If you ever held a title, i think you can be called the champ for the rest of life. Sue me.

Other than that it’s pretty bad. I mean real bad. No cadence or tempo. Tone is all fucked from the proper 12’s and no experience singing the song. The kids didn’t even work that well setting the pace. Across the board it’s a disaster and that’s okay. Not every stretch is going to hit just right. McGregor has every excuse in the world to work with.

Ditka on the other hand is just so inexcusable. So disrespectful. The kind of performance that confirms he will crop dust a funeral without apology. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was the first song he ever sang in his entire life. Probably hates lyrics and music and all that pussy stuff that takes away from his cigar time and watching film. Even tho he never was a big film guy, Ditka always blocked off the time for it.

I respect the shit out of both these guys but I think Ditka put up the better performance. All things included it’s just the absolute worst thing I’ve ever heard in the history of anything.
