Space Force Ripped Off Battlestar Galactica’s Uniforms

Yeah, Space Force is still a thing and they just unveiled new uniforms. Many are commenting how the uniforms look very much like Battlestar Galactica.

I can see how creating a totally new uniform is going to take inspiration from elsewhere but this is pretty much a rip-off. I feel like Space Force should have ditched prehistoric inventions like buttons or zippers and use magnets or whatever the Marty Mcfly sneakers use. They also released their ranks. 

I am going to be honest, I would 100% would love to sign up for the space force. I feel like no real progress will be made in the next 5 years so there will be no danger leaving earth just yet, but by the time we get there, I would have gotten a pension already. The uniforms would be awesome, you would get 0 respect from other military braches but you would get invited to a ton of dinner parties. Maybe 100 years in the future they will see some of the early employees as super important to the starting of the program and get a spaceship named after them. The USS Billy would be pretty dope if I was somehow a big contributor in the ground-floor stages of the force. Also if going to space was an option that would be great, too.
