Joey Votto Used Omar Little's Whistle As His Walk Out Song Last Night And Promptly Hit 2 Home Runs

The Ravens weren't the only ones to realize how intimidating Omar Little's whistle was from The Wire, Joey Votto got in on the action to. For Monday's game against the Pirates Votto switched his walk up song to Omar whistling "The Farmer In The Dell" and it paid off immediately. He went 3/3 with 2 walks and 2 homers in the game, not a bad night at all for the most interesting man in baseball. Based off those stats alone he may just have to keep the song for the rest of the year. It's basically a good luck charm. Votto said Omar was his favorite character and he wanted to pay tribute to Michael K Williams and this was the perfect way. He made it even better by hitting the 2 homers and getting on base all 5 times he was up. Pretty cool to see him do this though, I don't know why more closers or hitters didn't use this song, so damn intimidating and scary. Come at the king, you best not miss. Joey knows.
