Watching Max Scherzer Show Up And Pitch At Mets Spring Training Is Straight Up Baseball Boner Fuel
Can someone let the SNY social media team know they can't be posting clips like this all willy nilly? Just like you wouldn't throw a pitcher into a game without letting him soft toss a bit, you can't have Mets fans going from no baseball at this time yesterday to seeing Max Scherzer pitching with his new threads on.
There needs to be a little bit of a warm up. Some baseball foreplay if you may. Perhaps a picture of Max Scherzer wearing a Mets hat followed by a quote card where he says he's excited to pitch in Queens. Because after seeing those two videos back to back, I now have blood going to all the right places less than 24 hours after I wondered if there would even be a season, which is no way to get work done on a Friday.
For anyone worried that a guy nicknamed Mad Max isn't going to be ready to start the season after spending God knows how many hours dealing with those wormy owners that were trying to undercut Scherzer's union AND his new boss at the same time, this video will alleviate all those concerns.
I still can't believe that beautiful psycho is a Met. God bless Max Scherzer. God bless Steve Cohen. And God bless Alex Cohen, who has already shown up to Spring Training as any true Khaleesi would.
We recorded our first We Gotta Believe of the season this morning, which should be up soon. Click the links below to subscribe and get it as soon as it drops.
Also, for the people asking, yes tickets for Barstool At The Ballpark are on sale. Get them now because getting a ticket to watch this Mets team alongside fellow Stoolies with unlimited booze and a meal for $100 or less is damn near stealing.
