Here's A Montage Of *Some* Of The Taunting Penalties In The NFL Yesterday

Tommy wrote about the taunting yesterday a little bit but I saw this tweet pop up on my feed a few minutes ago and had to address this because it's BEYOND atrocious. I HATE the popular internet memes and shit but this is exactly how it goes:

NFL: "Let's start flagging grown men getting paid millions of dollars in a sport of aggression for shit talking each other on the field"

What planet are we on here? It's one thing if a player starts throwing slurs or some shit around, which would be reason to suspend them on top of flagging the player/booting him from the game, but we're not talking about that. We're talking about standard shit talk from player to player. Get the FUCK out of my face with this.

If they don't stop this, one of these flags are going to determine the outcome of a game in a big way. Officials in ANY sport shouldn't determine the outcome of the game. Not ever ever ever. Obviously human error renders that impossible, but the point remains. I can't wait until it's week 17 and it's a do or die game for whatever team and they get pushed out of field goal range because a DB gives the "incomplete" wave in a WRs face after making a nice play to bat a ball down. I know it, you know it, we all know it. 

That is unless they cut the shit and get rid of this garbage. The NFL is trying to fix something that isn't broken. It makes no sense, everyone (literally) disagrees with it, it makes for a worse product, and it needs to stop. Right fucking now. This is shit that shouldn't exist in HS football, let alone the NFL.
