The Vikings Radio Announcer Thought Greg Joseph's Kick Was Good and It Is a Painful Listen

Oh no. That can't happen.

Not only did Vikings radio announcer Paul Allen think Greg Joseph made that kick, he was emphatic about it. If you were a Vikings fan listening to the game on the radio, you could not have been more positive Minnesota had won the game for about three seconds. Pain.

When you're a TV announcer and you fuck something up, people can see what's going on and they'll just call you a dumbass and move on. But when your voice is the only thing describing the game to people and you pull out that call, that's as tough as it gets. Just wait two damn seconds for the refs to signal, dude. It's not like anybody listening can see what's going on anyway, you can take as long as you want.

I truly feel bad for Vikings fans who actually thought they had won the game and then had to have it all come crashing down in a matter of seconds. That's cruel and unusual punishment.
