Mookie Betts Traded A Signed Bat To A Fan For A Reds' Rookie's First Career Home Run Ball

Love this move by Mookie Betts. Reds' rookie TJ Friedl connected for his first career hit and homer on the same play, laced the ball into the right field seats. An awesome moment for the rookie no doubt. But Mookie Betts went above and beyond to make sure that Friedl got the ball back. Mookie saw the ball fly into the stands and asked the fans who caught the ball to throw it back so he could give it to Friedl. They obliged and threw the ball back onto the field to Betts. Betts tossed the ball in to the Reds so they could get him the ball. But Betts wasn't done, he came out with a signed bat for the fan and gave it to him to complete the trade. So instead of the guy just going home with a rookie HR ball, he goes home with a signed Mookie Betts bat. A really cool gesture by Mookie to get the ball back to Friedl. The fans even let some Dodgers fans take pics with the bat, it was basically show and tell in the stands. Awesome move by Mookie to retrieve the ball and good for the fans for giving it back!
