The Scene at Penn State Tonight Is Absolutely Electric

The scenes in Happy Valley for Penn State's Whiteout against Auburn tonight have been unreal. PSU's student section was completely filled with more than an hour until kickoff and the crowd has only gotten rowdier from there.

The team's entrance was maybe my favorite moment of the college football season so far.

And then the Nittany Lions found the end zone for the first time and the place went bananas.

I don't think there are more than a handful of atmospheres outside the SEC that are in the upper echelon of college football — or even worth making a trip if we're being honest — but Happy Valley is right there in the conversation for the best in the country. I can't wait to hopefully see a game there someday.

Auburn has held its own so far tonight, but the crowd is only going to get rowdier as the game goes on.
