Giants Week 2 Postgame Recap And Laps: Pain.

Well that was one of the worst losses I can remember watching in my life, which trust me there have been PLENTY lately. Especially in the first two weeks as the Giants fall to 0-2 for the 8th times in 9 seasons. EIGHTH TIME IN NINE SEASONS.

But this blog is about tonight, which was truly a remarkable loss. You can't have a team that preaches playing smart and finishing strong make mistakes like that. Absolutely gutting. Points left on the field with the CJ Board "holding" call, Darius Slayton's drop, and penalties to knock them out of Graham Gano's almost unlimited field goal range as well as picking points off the field then giving them to Washington with an offside on a missed game-winning field goal by Dexter Lawrence. And I shudder at the thought of what this defense will look like when they face a QB that was actually number 1 on their team's depth chart before the preseason.

On the bright side, at least the Giants best offensive lineman didn't suffer an injury so gruesome they couldn't show the replay of it on TV and their big free agent signing is getting along great with his new team!

I have no clue where we go from here. I wish this was a Monday night game so I had a week until a full slate of NFL Sunday haunted my brain. Yes, the Giants have ruined NFL Sundays for me. Fuck everything man. They are even hurting families.

Giants gear has to sleep outside tonight. No ifs, ands, or maybes.
