Mike Vrabel Said Julio Jones Was Guilty of Doing 'Dumb Shit' on Sunday and I Won't Stand for It

Now let me stop you right there, Mike, because I'm not going to put up with this bullshit.

Julio Jones got flagged for a personal foul after getting into a shoving match with Cardinals DB Byron Murphy that could have easily been a penalty on either player or both. But it went against Jones and turned a 3rd and 1 into a 3rd and 16. Here's the penalty:

Given the situation, was that dumb? Probably. Did it cost the Titans an opportunity to convert a 3rd and short to keep a drive going? Sure. But you address all that privately.

Let me tell you something, Mike: when one of the best receivers to ever play professional football forces his way out of the only team he's played for in his career to come play for you, you don't call him out in Week 1 after you got whipped up and down the field to the tune of a 38-13 loss. That penalty is not why you lost the game.

It's painful to see a player who was beloved in Atlanta go somewhere else only to be treated this way after one game. I guess the grass ain't always greener on the other side, huh?

I want an apology the next time Vrable speaks with the media, because Julio has earned more respect than this. It's a shame the way they're running things over in Nashville. I hope it gets fixed before Julio decides he'd rather move somewhere else yet again where they appreciate his talents.
