Arkansas' AD Was Mic'd Up as Students Stormed the Field After Beating Texas and It's the Best Thing You'll Watch Today

I generally despise Arkansas fans. I have found them, for the most part, to be the dumbest and most intolerable people in the Southeastern Conference.

With that said, this is awesome.

Hunter Yurachek is in his fourth year as Arkansas' athletic director and all of a sudden looks like he had one of the best athletic departments in the country thanks to his hires of Eric Musselman and Sam Pittman — and the fact he inherited Dave Van Horn's baseball program, even though the "OmaHogs" have never won a national title and did not, in fact, make it to Omaha in 2021 as the No. 1 overall seed.

But back to the video. It must be so damn cool to watch a football program rebuilt by the guy you hired beat the University of Texas as thousands of people flood the field and tear down the goalposts. I love that Yurachek allowed it to happen, too. Tennessee lined the field with security guards with about 5:00 left in our game against Florida in 2016 because God forbid they have to pay a fine from the SEC for some kids having fun. Yurachek ushered one kid into the scrum and told him to, "Have fun."

It's hard to argue with the results Pittman has produced so far, taking a team which went 0-8 in the SEC two years in a row before he was hired to 3-7 in an all-SEC schedule last year and then starting 2-0 with a win over No. 15 Texas this season. We'll find out how real the Razorbacks are in a couple weeks, though, when they take on a four-week stretch of Texas A&M, at Georgia, at Ole Miss and Auburn.

But I think it's safe to say Pittman was a much better hire than some Barstool Sports pundits gave Yurachek credit for.
