I Think Conor McGregor Just Tried To Fight Machine Gun Kelly On The VMAs Red Carpet (???)

TMZ- Sources connected to the situation tell us Conor asked MGK for a photo, which Kelly denied ... and that apparently escalated into him pushing Conor, whom we're told stumbled back and spilled his drink.

When he collected himself and whatever was left of his drink, our sources say Conor allegedly chucked the drink at Kelly ... as well as Megan, whom we're told was nearby.

Their respective teams broke it up before things got really ugly -- and Conor was given his walking cane back -- something that had fallen to the ground during the scuffle. FYI ... Conor made it inside after this -- the camera just panned over him during the broadcast.

I mean, this is just objectively a pretty cool look for Machine Gun Kelly, right? Apparently denies one of the most famous fighters ever a picture on the red carpet for whatever reason (kinda rude but whateva), and then somehow gets into a scuffle that results in him pushing McGregor and then walking off with Megan Fox before his first ever VMAs performance?

I'm a McGregor guy - for better or worse, as we all know - but I'm also an MGK guy, and as far as rockstar moves at the VMAs go, this is definitely up there. Hopefully Conor doesn't threaten to shoot Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly in their sleep and we can just move on. He seems to be having a grand ol' time now....

That being said, if Conor wants to fight MGK at Rough N Rowdy, we'd do it.
