Say Hello To The Worst Call Of The 2021 Football Season

So the chargers were playing time management football and fell behind to the WFT. They get a nice drive going, then this happens. Watching in real time, it just looked like a deflected pass considering it flew 15-20 yards in the direction of Herbert's throw before landing in the end zone. Then the refs call it a fumble into the endzone. Touchback. Excuse me? How exactly does that make sense? In real time, though, the zebras fuck up sometimes. They went to replay and I didn't even give it a second thought because it was so OBVIOUSLY not a fumble. Herbert's arm was clearly going forward, and any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball. That's directly from the NFL rulebook.

Then, these DULLARD refs confirmed it! How in the lord almighty's name do you confirm that? Herbert's arm is intentionally going forward before Sweat made contact. That is a fact. We're going to end up getting some correction from those chodes on monday saying sorry for fucking it up, but what does that do for me now? Because from where I'm sitting, now the Chargers are in the 4th quarter in a close game thanks to them. Stop me if you've heard that one before.
