Today I Officially Became A Minivan Guy

It's no secret, I'm a married man with two young children. I like to think of myself as a practical fellow. As a Dad, the one thing they don't prepare you for is whenever you go somewhere with your family, you are the guy to load and unload the car. It's the absolute worst. I currently have some rather efficient vehicles that as a family of four we've simply outgrown with a Honda C-RV and a Hyundai Elantra. After the massive flooding my neighborhood experienced last week, we were down to one car. Our timeline was accelerated a bit, but the goal had been clear for years - we were going to become minivan people.

When I was a youth, I always envied people with minivans. There was just so much space. Some even back in the late 90s/early 2000s had TVs which seemed so futuristic at the time. Minivans to me just felt like the perfect way to travel without being on top of each other. I'm 35 and I've known for over two decades that I was destined to be a minivan guy. When looking at the different models, I was so excited by the generous leg room, the sliding Captain's Seats, the trunk space, and more! This thing had 18 cupholders - 18!! Features like a de-icing window were simply more than I could think was possible! Everything in my life as far as wants and needs pointed to that same goal. So today I pulled the trigger and finally got the minivan of my dreams. Let's ride! #SiennaGang
