OH MY GOD, JOC!!!

Holy cow, what a baseball game. We got a Jorge Soler go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh inning, Will Smith giving up one of his patented leadoff homers to start the ninth and trim Atlanta's lead to just a run and then Joc Pederson making his best play of the season to snatch a thrilling victory from the jaws of potentially agonizing defeat.

It just feels good to be having fun watching the Atlanta Braves again, man. The lineup is awesome. The pitching is pretty good aside from the closer spot, which just is what it is at this point given how Brian Snitker operates. But these boys are a legitimately good baseball team. I take back all the dumb shit I said before the trade deadline.

That's one win against the best team in baseball this weekend while the Mets have already lost to the Nationals and the Phillies are tied with the Diamondbacks in the 10th inning at the time of publication. One of these NL East teams is not like the others.
