You know I gotta give Louisville credit for a second. I know, I know. As a Kentucky fan I simply shouldn't. But they are AWESOME at Friday news dumps. Nobody and I mean nobody in college sports does scandals like Louisville. They are experts at this sort of stuff and there's not a close second. This time it's announcing Chris Mack is being suspended for 6 games while being extorted by his former assistant Dino Gaudio. For some that would be an all-time story. For Louisville? It's simply August. 

Losing $221,000 because you're being extorted is a tough beat. What's even funnier is it's all over something so stupid and small that it really wouldn't matter. Well, it wouldn't matter unless your program is already facing NCAA sanctions and has a long line of problems. We're talking about using a grad assistant for practice basically here. But this is Louisville. Hell, they could barely get the suspension right. It was reportedly basically a fight between the President and AD. Good thing to see them on the same page.
