The Lauri Markkanen Era Is Officially Over In Chicago

And just like that Lauri is gone.

Don't think anybody is surprised as we were all just waiting for it to happen. I know some people may be confused at me calling it an "era", but to me Markkanen was significant as he was the first guy the city really rallied around once we officially decided to rebuild and trade Jimmy.

It's actually somewhat sad too because it started out so promising. Loved what we had after his first two years and we all really thought he'd be a foundational piece for the future. Not really sure what happened the last two years, but it definitely was somewhat bizarre. I'd also imagine that having to play for that thick skulled moron Jim Boylen didn't help anything either.
